31st December: Today Tegan would have turned
19 and to celebrate the occasion she would have accompanied her
family to New Zealand where today they are in Wanaka just outside
the adventure capital of the world Queenstown. One thing Tegan
wanted to do to top her skydiving adventure in January 2008 was
to do the mother of all bungee jumps from a glass-bottomed cable
car 134m above the Nevis River. When her cousin Nathan told her
about this jump after he recently did it, her eyes lit up and
her arms flapped in excitement at the thought of it being her
next big challenge. One thing is for sure, her dad who dislikes
heights will not be jumping but instead he and the rest of the
family will be thinking of Tegan every minute of the day as they
continue on their journey.
