This award is presented to a student who has
represented Mackillop in a number of sports in year 12, participated
at at a representative level in his/her chosen sport, displayed
outstanding leadership skills and team work and demonstrated a
positive approach to others.

The innaugural winner is Christopher Robinson who always exhibited
sportsmanship, outstanding leadership skills and showed a positive
approach to his sporting commitments. In 2009 Chris represented
the College in Tennis, Cross Country, Rugby and AFL among others
as well as captaining, coaching and officiacted many sports.
Dec 2010
This year the award went to Joshua Duke who always exhibited sportsmanship,
outstanding leadership skills and had a positive approach to his
sportng commitments. He represented the College in Football, Hockey,
Indoor Cricket, Rugby Union, Touch Footy and Aussie Rules where
he was part of Mackillop's ACT Swans Cup winning team. Josh also
represented the College at the ASC Athletics and Cross Country
Carnivals as well as in the City to Surf race.
Dec 2011
This year the award went to Lindsay Hoek who represented the College
in Aussie Rules, Athletics, Cricket, Cross Country, Oztag, Soccer,
Softball and Swimming. On top of this Lindsay was a positive role
model to her peers and the wider Mackillop Community.
Dec 2012
This year the award went to Matthew Smith who represented the
college in Aussie Rules, Athletics, Basketball, Cricket and Cross
Country. He was also the Senior Boys Athletics Age Champion and
the Senior Boys Cross Country Champion.
Congratulations to Matthew, a worthy winner whose achievements
were similar to that of Tegans.

The 2013 Tegan Blunt Southern Cross Club Sports Award has been
awarded to Mitchell Scott who represented Mackillop in Aussie
Rules, Athletics, Basketball, Cross Country, Hockey and Soccer.
He was this year’s Senior Boy Cross Country Age Champion
and also found the time to umpire on the Girls Softball Day. Congratulations
Mitchell, a well deserved winner!

The Tegan Blunt Southern Cross Sport's Award for 2014 has been
awarded to Hayley Ngametua.
This award is presented to a Year 12 student who has represented
Mackillop in a number of sports during the year, participated
at a represented level in their chosen sport, displayed outstanding
leadership skills and team work and has a positive approach to
others. The recipient of the award also exhibits sportsmanship
and share their love of sport with others.
Hayley was the College Sport's captain and promoted participation
in sport to her peers, started up new cross campus sport programs
and organised PE and Health week.
Hayley outside of College is a talented basketballer and netballer.
Coincidentally she, like Teegs, played netball for the Mustangz
Netball Club.
Hayley is a beautiful person, well respected and is a popular
and well deserved winner.
