Tegan was educated in Canberra starting at Fadden Pre-School
in 1996 followed by Fadden Primary School from Kindergarten to
Year 6 (1997-2003) and then Mackillop Catholic College from Year
7 to Year 11 (2004-2008).
At each school, Tegan excelled in many sports picking up numerous
awards like the award for being the junior, intermediate and senior
athletics and cross country champion at Fadden Primary and the
Sports Woman of the year award in Year 10 at Mackillop College.
At Fadden Primary School, Tegan was a Sports Leader and Captain
of the Kangaroos Sports House. She also was part of the School
band first learning to play the trumpet and then mastering the
French horn.
Although Tegan was considered an average student academically
when finishing Primary School (apart from Sport of course!), her
grades soon improved at Mackillop College with her 2007 Year 10
Certificate showing the top grade of ‘Outstanding Achievement’
in Food Studies and Physical Education and Health. As Tegan loved
sport and loved eating, these results came as no surprise to those
who knew her well! She was also awarded the second highest grade
of ‘High Achievement’ in Religious Education, English,
Mathematics, Science, SOSE, Visual Arts and Photography.
The following video is of Teegs presenting her
Year 11 Behavioural Science speech on Sexual Deviance. She is
a little nervous and makes the odd mistake but her personality
still shines through.
