This page belongs to Chelsea (age 10) and contains her unsolicited and unedited thoughts about her big sister Tegan. Hopefully by allowing her to express her feelings in this way, it will ease some of the pain she is experiencing and will allow her to progress through her own grieving process.

One morning the light of the sun glimmered through the thin shaped curtains and a pool of sunlight shimered on my face and woke me up. Suddenly I realized I was in my dream. My dream was real. This dream is hard to exsept and that morning I slowly walked down the brick like tiles to a door. I turned the nob and glided the door open. This room had a sweet sent of beautiful perfume and was filled with pools of sun light. It was my sisters room, I slowly walked in to the side of the bed were she sleeps but she wasn’t there, I realized then and there it was really true she was gone. I slowly walked out of the room as a tear trickled down my cheek.
That day all I could think about was her and how she wasn’t there my life suddenly turned dull and unliveabal. Its funny every morning I exspect her to be there but she isn’t. Every morning I exspect her to be in the bathroom but she isn’t shes spost to be there and every one knows that. Every 10 seconds some one dies in the world and in a day 2400 people die and she was one of them. Her life wasn’t forfilled and completed. When she went she was kind beutiful and thats something some one could say. She was my big sister and no one can ever take that away from me.
Some times peple in the world hate there life so much that they make a suacide act hopeing to die and many people sucseed in this. Its sad the pasing of love ones and I’m only ten but I know much. My head is telling me to forget but my heart says do things to rember. My sister deserved to live she still does now. I hope one day I will meet her up there and wait for many more people.

I like to think my sister is still here I play x box with her. I like doing her garden on her x box game viva pinyata garden. I talk to her she is not forgotten even tho I can’t see or touch her she’s still there. I’ve also drawn her a canvas.
