Teegs first goal ever scored in outdoor soccer was when she played for the Under 16 Woden Valley team against Tuggeranong United. While defending, She accidentally kicked the ball in her own goal!. Luckilly her team still went on to win the match 2-1.

Teegs convinced her younger cousins that tree bark tasted like chicken so they proceeded to eat some during which time Teegs somehow managed to keep a straight face!

When posing for a photo in Commonwealth Park, a bus group of Japanese tourists approached Teegs and asked her if she was famous. Teegs jokingly said ‘Yes’ and then agreed in having her photo taken with them all. They all thanked her and then left again on the bus none the wiser and much to Teegs amusement!

When training as part of the ACT Academy of Sport Talent ID squad, Teegs came off her bike on so many occasions that it was suggested she would be a shoe-in for securing sponsorship from Johnson and Johnson!

When cooking an Italian meal at home as part of a school assignment, the Tiramisu dessert component did not turn out as well as she had planned. As photos of the meal presentation were required as part of the assignment Teegs thought for a moment and then went down to Coles and bought an already made Tiramisu, served that and then submitted a photo of it!

Teegs had a bit of a fear about driving a quad bike on a gentle sand dune on Moreton Island but before hand didn’t hesitate in jumping from a plane at 12,000 feet!

Teegs was sent off when playing in her first Rugby Union game for Mackillop despite being the innocent victim of foul play!

When playing State League Soccer for Woden Valley, Teegs nickname was ‘Long Legs’ due to her speed and ability in not letting opposing players get around her!
